Lawcruiters: What We Do

What do legal recruiters do? For those looking for an answer that goes beyond the glib (e.g., "call lawyers to convince them to change jobs"), here are a few preliminary ideas:
  1. We create and maintain the relationships we need to match the career and practice-development aspirations of talented attorneys with the practice and business-development needs of our law firm clients.
  2. We facilitate informed decision making by our lawyer-candidates and the law firms we represent, in order to ensure an optimal understanding as to why a proposed business/employment relationship is (or is not) a good idea.
  3. We give our clients constructive feedback as to "best" lateral-recruitment and hiring practices.
  4. In all our actions, we facilitate a free and efficient market in experienced legal talent.
