Lawcruiter pauses from calling his contacts at Dewey to observe that the past couple of days cannot have been fun for them and their colleagues what with every Lawcruiter in town calling to ask the same "so your firm is now cast adrift - what will you do now?" question.
And yet, Dewey is a strong firm that had record profits this year, so the news is not all bad.
Why then, at the moment of this writing, is the Dewey website still trumpeting the two-month old announcement of a pending merger?
If this is indicative of morale levels at Dewey - then I really should be getting back to the phones...
